Katie writes in a number of different genres; her paranormal, historical, and contemporary romantic comedies are written under the name of Katie MacAlister.

She also writes contemporary and paranormal young adult fiction as Katie Maxwell.

Beginning in 2008, she will be starting a new paranormal mystery series, written as Kate Marsh.
